Move to RE/MAX will Grow Business, Help Clients
I’m thrilled to let everyone know that I have joined RE/MAX Realty Professionals. Being a loyal guy, the decision took me some time, and some research. I found that my new home boasts the most transactions per Realtor of any office in Calgary. That translates into a vibrant and energetic office, full of resources. If you subscribe to the 80/20 theory (80% of business is done by 20% of the people), well, we’re part of that 20%, and then some. So what’s in it for clients?First and foremost, it means greater exposure to their homes for sale, through remax.ca. Depending on who you talk to it’s one of the top two sites for real estate in Canada. We offer a buyer’s bundle of services exclusive to our office to assist with the cost of buying. Needless to say, cutting your expenses after a recession makes sense. I have a number of other new initiatives coming in the next few weeks. There will be a fresh new look to my website, with more stats available by community, more information on all communities, and more social media links. I have had many compliments about my website since I launched it’s current look in 2008, but these new features will enhance the clients experience, and bring new technology to the site. I will let you know as they roll out, but I am following the theory that I’m spending when others are having a tough time, so I am ready for our next up-tick in the market. I see the next noticeable activity to come in September.
The latest CREB stats show our sales of about 42% from 2009 for July. Those of us out there on a daily basis are not surprised, as we have access to ongoing stats throughout the month. Hang in there, as I see this bottoming out for sellers, even as we speak. Inventory is dropping, so once buyers decide to jump in, we could have a bit of a bump for a few months. Don’t look for huge price increases, but more of a move to a truly balanced market until spring.
